Created by Sierra Leonean born Elaine Rhule, Designer Cakes of London are developing a reputation for creating elegant bespoke custom-made cakes. The company was recently commissioned to create the 30th birthday cake for Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt, upon the request to create a simple cake as a surprise for the athlete, Rhule created a cake made from 24 caret edible gold. The company also created the birthday cake for Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce.
